Drive PrimeCare P903 Expandable Full Electric Low Profile Bed (high capacity)—monthly rental for the entire GTA, including Toronto. It is commercial-grade equipment that can provide customized structural configurations, available sizes, and electronically controlled operation for residential home care settings or long-term facility placements.
The bed features an expandable and fully adjustable sleep surface deck.
At the core of the Drive P903 platform is its modular, expandable frame design that can be manually configured on-site without any tools.
- Integrated Width Expansion: The mattress deck extends to 36-, 39-, or 42-inch widths, offering dynamic sizing flexibility based on facility space limitations and individual requirements.
- Integrated Length Extension: Platform length is adjustable to 80″, 84″, or 88″ and safely supports extended-length specialized medical mattresses.
- Heavy-Duty Frame: Designed with a durable welded steel slat support deck, the entire frame is built to safely support up to 600 lbs (272 kg) of structural weight.
Motorized Profiling and Electronic Controls
The system operates silently, allowing for effortless adjustments through the provided 10-function backlit hand pendant control, powered by four DC motors. The system features:
- Low-to-the-Ground Lift: The frame lowers down to a minimum profile height 7 inches from the floor surface, providing almost no clearance for establishing what’s coming next.
- Greater Elevation: The synchronized Hi/Lo lifting mechanism elevates the full deck up to a maximum of 30 inches in height, providing an ergonomic working height for everyday equipment adjustments.
- Auto-Contour and profiling—The handheld pendant is able to control the head deck (up to 68 degrees) and thigh deck (up to 30 degrees), so it features an Auto-Contour button that reclines them in sync. It also enables it to be positioned in specialty profiles, such as the cardiac comfort chair.
Facade Safety, Mobility, and Brake Systems
The chassis was made to travel frequently through common home and facility doorframes.
- Roll-at-Any-Height Feature Eight commercial-grade, 3-inch dual-footprint casters coupled with an onboard steer-control system allow the unit to be rolled easily at any height.
- Two-Pedal Floor Lock: A dual-pedal floor-locking system that uses different-coloured visual indicators to confirm the bed is in a secure position when stationary.
- Wall Protection: The adjustable integrated wall bumper spaces the frame away from baseboards and plaster walls while users change their height.
RENTAL SERVICE PARAMETERS (Toronto & GTA)
This is a site-specific, community-based medical equipment rental service and rental program. Local service areas, including Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, and surrounding GTA municipalities, are handled directly for delivery setup, structural configuration, and final pickup logistics. (Rental packages generally include the basic electric frame, though you can add compatible mattresses and safety assist bars as extra upgrades).
